AT&T is the New United: UPDATE

January 25th, 2009 · No Comments

posted by Doyle

In December, I wrote about all the fun I had trying to get an AT&T Wireless Internet device to work with my Mac. You can read my adventure here. Long story short, after 24 painful hours, I returned it.

We just got our latest AT&T bill, and guess what — the monthly service charge is on the bill! Seriously, how can the link be so weak that when a customer buys a device and signs up for service, then returns the device because it doesn’t work and indicates that he no longer wants the service, I have to waste my time on another call to cancel the service that supports the device!

Let’s hope it’s not another fight. Although I get good feedback on my rants, I’m kind of hoping I don’t need to write another one over this.

Stay tuned…
